Welcome to the Midsomer Norton & Radstock Branch of Cats Protection
Our vision is a world where every cat is treated with kindness and an understanding of its needs.
We are a small branch of Cats Protection run entirely by a group of dedicated volunteers. We take in unwanted cats and kittens from the area coloured green in the above map. Our neighbouring branches include Bristol, Frome and Glastonbury & Wells.
We hold 3 local fundraising events per year and attend as many others as we can, to help fund the cats in our care, as you can imagine, regardless of how much we raise, it is never enough and therefore we are always grateful for the generosity of public donations and the kind people who remember us in their will. All donations regardless of size enables us to carry on with our vital work. Unfortunately, the CP shop in the High Street is owned by head office, therefore we don't see a penny of the money raised there, the only benefit to the branch is the food donated in their food collection bin.
Our work is never ending and our volunteers are always busy. We are always looking for help with Fostering and rely on Food Donations.
Any help in any form is much appreciated by all of us here at the Midsomer Norton & Radstock Branch, especially our furry friends who, through no fault of their own, have found themselves in our care.
